At St. Kalemba Senior Secondary School, Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) is more than an activity it is a celebration of talent, culture, and creativity. Our learners use MDD to express themselves, build confidence, and preserve Uganda’s rich cultural heritage while also exploring modern artistic expression.
Every year, the school hosts the Annual MDD Festival, a colourful event where students present traditional dances, drama plays, poetry, and contemporary performances. The festival attracts parents, fellow learners, and friends of the school who come to witness the creativity, discipline, and teamwork of our students. MDD not only entertains but also educates addressing important social issues through drama and music while nurturing leadership, teamwork, and innovation. It is one of the activities that truly defines the vibrant student life at St. Kalemba Senior Secondary School.
